Brno actively participated in a meeting for young people at the beginning of their professional journey – the Job Opportunities Fair (Trh pracovních příležitostí) – organized by Nadání a dovednosti, o.p.s.
The event, intended for young people aged 15–19 from disadvantaged backgrounds, took place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. A total of 150 young people from across Moravia attended, mainly from 15 children’s homes and foster families.
The Brno City Municipality (Department of Strategic Development and Cooperation) presented itself at the event as a potential employer and introduced opportunities for careers in public administration.
The Job Opportunities Fair was held under the auspices of the Mayor of Brno, which confirms the city’s long-term commitment to supporting equal opportunities, talent development, and the active involvement of young people in both working and social life.
