On Friday, 6 September, the popular Festival of Science and Technology begins at the Brno Exhibition Centre. The three-day event will again offer a number of novelties.
One of them is a joint stand of the City of Brno and the Brno Observatory with a module evoking a space satellite. An interesting programme is expected at the stand. On Friday and Saturday there will be attractive talks with representatives of Brno’s popularization institutions, which Brno supports financially.
The moderators Jakub Rybář from the Brno City Hall and Simon Klinga from the Lasar team will invite representatives of the VIDA science centre, FabLab Brno, Brno Observatory and Planetarium, Czechitas or JCMM. Visitors will also learn about the BRNOsat project and other space activities from representatives of Spacemanic and the Aerospace Research and Testing Institute. There will also be one of the Ph.D. students from the competition Brno Ph.D. Talent.
Visit Hall A at BVV, we look forward to seeing you on Friday and on the weekend of 7 and 8 September. Entrance is free.
