The 8th edition of the AT&T Hackathon Junior took place in Brno on November 20–21, 2025. Fifteen teams from across the Czech Republic and Slovakia showcased their talent and dedication, with the City of Brno once again acting as a traditional partner of the event.

This year’s theme was “Gamification”, meaning the use of game principles in non-gaming environments. Participants learned the competition challenge only at the official opening on Thursday morning, November 20, and then had 24 hours to design and program a socially beneficial innovation. The event was hosted at the Secondary School of Informatics, Postal Services, and Finance Čichnova, where 70 young IT talents competed in teams of up to five members.
