The Czechs won the Green Exhibitor Award for the most sustainable exhibition at the Smart City Expo World Congress. The Brno part of the exhibition booth was uniquely designed using sustainable materials. It created a welcoming meeting place for visitors and exhibitors.
Brno-based VisionCraft will also take its award with a cash prize of USD 15,000 from Barcelona, including an invitation to join an exploratory mission to Texas, USA, from the local innovation agency.
The design of the Brno exhibition was also influenced by the unique concept of a sustainable national exposition, where two dominant lines were projected – circular economy and mobility. Talent and innovation were presented here in a variety of solutions.
The excellent cooperation of the organiser of exhibition stands, Ministry of Industry and Trade and CzechTrade, organiser of the Brno Trade Fairs, cities of Prague, Brno, Plzeň and other corporate exhibitors and institutions brought great encouragement to continue this presentation model in the future.
Smart City Expo World Congress has been held in Barcelona since 2011. It is the world’s largest and most influential event for cities and urban innovation. It aims to accelerate and strengthen the urban model towards green, efficient and prosperous cities where their inhabitants live well.
