Brno Science and Technology Festival Begins – Come Hear Something New: Expert Talks

On Friday, September 5, the largest Brno gathering of science and discovery enthusiasts returns — the Brno Science and Technology Festival. Until September 7, Pavilion A at the Brno Exhibition Centre will host 87 science stations, the Science Theatre, escape games, and guided tours.

New this year: moderated conversations with experts from various scientific and social fields.

The City of Brno’s presentation at the festival is organized by two municipal departments.

The Department of Environmental Affairs will host an outdoor booth where visitors can learn about air quality and waste prevention. Nearby, you’ll find booths from city companies like SAKO Brno, Brněnské komunikace, TIC Brno, and the Brno City Police.

Inside Pavilion A1, the Department of Strategic Development and Cooperation is preparing a joint booth with the festival organizer, the Brno Observatory and Planetarium. This space will host daily moderated interviews with guests, led by Jiří Kokmotos.
