Brno has once again ranked among the top cities in the national comparative research City for Business 2024 (Město pro byznys 2024), which annually evaluates the business environment in all municipalities with extended powers across the Czech Republic. Competing against 205 cities and municipalities and 22 districts of Prague, Brno secured an excellent third place in the nationwide ranking.
Among the city’s strengths are a high number of entrepreneurs per capita and a significant year-on-year increase in their number, confirming that Brno remains an attractive place for starting and growing businesses. The city also shows a relatively sufficient supply of available workforce, which is key for a healthy business environment.
Brno has long focused on supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and quality services for companies. The research results confirm that the city’s strategic approach — connecting academia, research, business, and modern urban services — is paying off.
